Terms and Conditions
Last updated: (Jul 21, 2022)
Please read these Terms and Conditions before using this website. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, then you may not access this website.
Access
We provide access to all the courses of Shabda Academy through social logins. We store your name, email address, and photo in our records to facilitate your continued access to courses.
Content
You are required to pass quiz courses, and your data for the quiz results are stored in our database. Your subscriptions to specific courses that have subscribed to are stored in our database. If you leave course reviews or course ratings, these are stored in our database.
We make our best efforts to keep the content accurate and up to date. However, we take no responsibility for any inaccuracies. We provide this content on an as-is basis with no liabilities.
We reserve the right to update the content at any time, without notification, including, but not limited to corrections. We might update the course content based on the feedback of students.
Cookies
This site may contain cookies from third-party websites. As you use social logins, their providers may track your access to this site. We are not responsible for what they do with such information. We might include links to other sources, including, but not limited to, hosting parts of our courses in the form of videos on social sites. Access to this content works exactly as direct access.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is coming, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
Charges
We intend to provide these courses for free, but in select cases, there could be paid courses if we find it necessary. The general rule of thumb is that whatever is given for free is considered worthless. What we are offering is very valuable. However, if we find that students who enroll in these courses don’t take them seriously, then we might be compelled to charge for them.
Discussions
We encourage discussions, but not within the course itself. The link to the discussion forums is https://forums.shabda.co and can be accessed through the menu links at the top. The terms and conditions pertaining to these discussions are available on the above site. Readers are encouraged to read them before starting a discussion. The terms of this site don’t apply to discussions.
Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us. You can send suggestions for improvement as well. We don’t promise to reply back, but we take legitimate feedback seriously. Of course, you can rate the courses here and leave feedback after you complete them.
