About Course

Modern psychology is mostly a riddle. Psychologists have advanced six different schools about the mind to tackle this riddle. These are Behaviorism that studies the mind through its behaviors, Physicalism that studies the mind through the brain, Cognitivism that studies the mind as an information processor, Functionalism that studies the social and evolutionary benefits of a mind, Emotivism that focuses on illnesses caused by emotional trauma, and Humanism that focuses on the pursuit of meaning and the role of will. Each of these is a reality about the mind and yet there is no method to integrate these six approaches into a single theory of the mind.
